Introduction
Comprehensive family assessment involves evaluating the interactions in a family setting in order to determine factors that affect the family members. Accordingly, the assessment involves interviewing the children and other family members, collecting and analyzing the information, in order to identify the root cause of a specific problem within the family setup (Saltzman et al 2013 & Freedman, 2014). This assist will present a family assessment for a specific family. In accordance with the HIPAA regulations, anonymous names will be used to safeguard the confidentiality of the clients.

Demographic Information
The family is made of four family members namely, Roderigo (father), Monica (wife), Lupita (daughter), and Lisa (daughter). Roderigo is a 38-year-old Africa American male, while Monica is a 36-year-old Latino female. Roderigo and Monica have two daughters Lupita (7 years) and Lisa (5 years). Presenting Problem
A family friend visited the local children welfare offices and informed the available social worker that the parents were mistreating their children. History of Present Illness

Roderigo, Monica, Lupita, and Lisa stay as a nuclear family. Both Roderigo and Monica work as casual workers. The family occasionally go out together over the weekend to enjoy each other’s company.
History of Abuse/Trauma
Monica was sexually abused by a relative when she was 15-years and underwent counseling therapy to overcome the trauma. Roderigo reported that he grew up in a dysfunctional family and his father always battered the mother and children as well.

Treatment Strategies

Roderigo and Monica will be educated on the appropriate parenting and how to handle indiscipline in their children. As a result, they will use appropriate disciplining approaches (Wheeler, 2014). On the other hand, the anger management classes will ensure Roderigo is able to manage and control his anger any time the children misbehave.
